And get some confidence, stupid! Actually, I’m done smoking (oopsie on this one), and Troy McClure only exists on Simpsons reruns. I’m a single woman, late 30s, 40 years old, trying to lose 50 pounds and keep it off. So far I’m down 20 25 35 40 45 50 pounds, and it’s a slow road, filled with exercise but not too much food restriction. I’ve always been a fruit and veggie fan, and was vegetarian for a long time (but not now). I don’t diet, don’t try not to obsess, don’t try not to beat myself up if I eat something fattening occasionally. It’s okay, really. I’ve studied nutrition and biochemistry, but mostly what I’ve learned is from trial and error. And I do mean error!
Hey Julie!! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Good luck with everything- and seriously, people who think anyone can/should survive on 1200 calories a day are crazy! I look forward to reading more of your blog!
Thank you for stopping by Almost Fit – it’s definitely what brought me here to your site. I think in the “keeping it real” category you are off the charts ;). I love the tone of your writing – it has a definite personal feel, especially the rants :). Good luck with the last few pounds – sounds like you’re approaching it from a realistic perspective which is what I’m trying to do as well.
Best,
Metroknow

Hi, Julie,
Thanks for posting on my blog. 🙂 I am enjoying yours; it’s going on my bookmarked ones! 🙂
Hi Julie – Thanks for the comment on my site. I sure hope you are not smoking now. Several extra pounds does not have anywhere the ill health effects of several cigarettes. Thanks again.
I LOVE your blog. I have to get ready for work now..and I’m gonna be late because I’m reading your blog. I will be subversively reading you during work today.
How do I find archives? Thanks!
I don’t really have archives, everything is just in order it was written.
Always nice to hear from you, Julie!
